We were told the prior homeowners of our beautiful bungalow were quite the landscapers. However, by the time we moved in the yard was covered with 2 years of dead leaves, overgrown grass, and weeds. Unfortunately, Sam and I are not landscapers, nor do we want to spend the money it will take to actually grow grass in Florida. After living here for 2.5 years we have finally decided to tear out the old shrubs and other foreign objects (a.k.a. weeds) out of the flower bed and give our own green thumbs a chance (Note: Photos to follow when we finish).
The above story is only relevant to the photos I am about to share, because while pulling up the shrubs in our front yard, B decided he would take off running and dive head first into the dirt. Since it was one of the colder days we've had this winter, he was sporting daddy's hat, which only make these shots CUTER!! I hope you enjoy the genuine smile and fun moments captured of a boy in his wonderland: DIRT.
And just in case the first four didn't make you smile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boys and dirt!
LOVED your guest post on Money Saving Mom. As soon as I saw the pic of Bennett, I thought, "Hey! I know him!" ;) I also shared a link from your blog on toddler activities with an Asbury Mom's facebook group.

Oh my gosh, my daughter would be in heaven there. She is a huge lover of dirt...the problem is we have read clay which is sort of a pain in the butt to get out of close, but oh, well, all for the love of dirt, right?
