This week has been a whirlwind. We arrived home from Tennessee on Sunday, only to unpack and get ready to leave for Orlando on Friday. However, I didn't want to miss out on Ashley's first Scavenger Hunt of the year, so here are my interpretations:
1. This is ME-before the Disney 1/2 marathon
I ran and finished my second half marathon yesterday. We woke up at 3:50 a.m. in order to get ready and be at Disney World by 5 a.m. The race went well and my sister-in-law finished her first half--Woot, Woot!!
This is ME-after the Disney half marathon
2. Resolutions
Because I was pregnant, I didn't run for about 8 months, so feels great (most days) to be back on the pavement. This year, I hope to be back running more consistently.
*I am also linking this photo up with Katie's Scripture and a Snapshot. Make sure to check out the other entries HERE.
3. Treasured
This is when I wish I had a Macro lens, because when cropping this shot I just didn't like it. Plus, the detail of my ring is not captured here. My whole life my mother has worn a ring her parents bought her when she graduated nursing school. I always said I would like to have one, so when I graduated physical therapy school my parents bought me one. It has my name, title, school, and graduating year on it.
4. Innocence
Sorry for the noise, but I love this photo. Friday before the half marathon we stayed in a hotel. My nephews had so much fun playing in the whirlpool. It truly makes me happy to see kids having fun.
5. Primitive

I had no idea what to use for primitive, because I waited too long to take my shots this week. So I am using a shot I took in my grandmother's backyard while I was home for Christmas. It's primitive.

Great captures this week Amber and congratulations on finishing that marathon. I"m not much of a runner but I know that's a huge accomplishment! Have a great week.
Great shots this week! Congrats on your half marathon! And I love your Scripture & a Snapshot photo/verse!
Wow, a 1/2 marathon? Way to go!
Thanks for linking up this week... happy Sunday!
Awesome scripture and a snapshot. So many are focusing on this verse lately.. and you depicted it well. Congrats on the halfer!
Congrats on your marathon. I really loved your photos and enjoyed the scripture. How very true it is. There is no rule that says we can't all be winners in God's race.
hey girl! love your pictures and so proud of you and michelle! that is awesome!!
The bath tub shot is so cute! And your resolution photo is awesome too!
These are wonderful, Amber! (And, congrats on the yesterday's achievement. A couple of my friends went down and did it last year.) What a great place to run. :)
Have a fabulous week!
Hi Amber. Congrats on the half! I bet you felt great afterwards. Love the before and after shots. I can't wait to run again. I'm slowly but surely recovering from a stress fracture and surgery. I'll be back soon and ready for Chicago 2011 :)
I'm adding you to my rss feed to keep up with your running.
Great list! Congrats on the half marathon and your graduation (ring). Both wonderful accomplishments.
We are so proud of you both!
I'm somewhat in awe that you two were so disciplined at this season of your lives to train for and complete this distance. And happy that both your hubbies were so supportive :-)
As usual, it's hard to pick a favorite....
Great captures! I like your ring shot just the way it is. It makes it seem more significant and bold in the simple setting.
Good luck with your running. I admire runners; I think I could probably run a half mile without passing out! :)
Great photos! I love the stories behind them all as well!
Congrats on your 2nd half-marathon! I've always admired all those who complete a (half) marathon and I've been telling myself that I should go out and run seeing that we have an oval right next door... Maybe I will before the end of the cold season here. Thanks for the inspiration! :)
I have too much going right now to do the scavenger hunts, but I love looking at those of others. Very nice shot for S&S and the perfect verse to go with it.
And thanks for stopping by and for sharing with me. It's a blessing to know when my work has meaning for someone else too. =)
Wonderful set of pictures! Great verse to ponder on about running the race. Oh to finish with a "Well done thou good and faithful servant".
