I am currently taking Shooting 201 through Clickin' Moms. It has been fun to taking so many shots of my son this month. One great thing about taking a class, it forces you to take photos. I have been really tired with the second pregnancy, so I have picked up my camera very little the last 14 weeks. Since the class began 2 weeks ago, I have taken more photos than I did the previous 3 months combined.
This shot was taken last week (yes, in February) while we were playing in the backyard. I love the composition, the backlighting, the way the light is shining through the water, the warmth, the haze, his reflection in the pool, and how his little bits are hidden.

love this shot. i'm currently taking 201 with CM too! but just as a study along though. it's made a huge difference in my backlit, hazy portraits already. and i'm learning a ton in post-processing! i almost chose one my favorite backlit shots i took because of the class but ended up with a p52 choice i did a couple of weeks back. your shot makes me wish i'd picked the backlit hazy one! ;)
