Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Christmas in Kentucky has been fantastic.  It has been snowing on and off since Christmas morning.  Sam and I couldn't be more excited to see, eat, and play in the snow.  Yes, we eat the snow.  Have you ever had snow cream?  YUMMY!!!

By the way, be sure to check out the announcement above. Join me, Courtney of Click It Up a Notch, Mandy of a sorta fairytale, Chelsey of The Paper Mama, Sarah of Loving My Life, and Jhen of From Here to Eternity on Thursday, December 30th by linking up to TOP 10 of '10.

What is TOP 10 of 10?  Search your 2010 archives and post the top 10 photos you have taken of your children this year, including a short description of why you chose each photo.  Yes, you can include your animals.

Now on to this weeks Scavenger Hunt.

1.  FAMILY
Two of my favorite people in all of the world, my granny Hester and my daddy on Christmas day.

2.  MOTION BLUR
It is hard to see, but if you look close you can see the motion in my nephew's eyes and hair as he is jumping on the bed.

3.  PRETTY PACKAGE
Lots of pretty packages.  This was the first year without my grandfather, but the tree and all of the outdoor lights reminded me of him.  He loved to have the house covered with lights.  We missed him this year, but I was thankful to come home and see that my aunt Sandy had taken so much time to put all of the lights up, as if he were still here.
4.  GLOW
My dad was glowing from the inside out as his two grandsons sat on his lap Christmas morning.  What a joy it was to be with everyone!!
5.  SPARKLE
So I didn't take a photo of anything sparkly, but this little dude is sparkly enough for me.  Plus, who can resist those chubby cheeks all bundled up for his first snow?

I love all of these, especially the one of your dad with Bennett and Braxton. The tree looks so beautiful in the background. I think you've perfected pictures of lights!

Alright - the motion blur shot is the cutest ever. I'd join you for the other challenge but I'm not sure 10 photos of Kitty Paw are that interesting. :)

I love your pretty package shot and the story behind it. What a special way to remember your grandfather. So... warm and Christmasy. ♡

It's the little things like this that make Christmas so very special.

Amber,

I have a point and shoot - that's all. Not a photographer like you. I admire what you do with your camera. You are an artist. And the way you describe your pictures makes them even better. You do art with words too. God Bless and keep all of yours. My fave shot btw - your dad beaming with the kids on his lap.
