Scavenger Hunt Sunday

It seems we have been going non-stop this week, as Sam had a busy work week plus all of the Christmas activities.  It is a fun time of year, but I am glad today we decided to stay home and rest.

Here are my interpretations for Ashley's Scavenger Hunt items.  If you enjoy what you see, be sure to head over and check other interpretations.

1.  Holiday Colors
This week my nephew's and niece decorated graham cracker houses that my mother-in-law had prepared.  My mother-in-law knows I enjoy crafts, so she brought an extra house for Sam and I to decorate.  I took the photo above before Sam began eating the roof.
Here is the pre-processing shot:

2.  Holiday/Winter Icon
I must admit I almost posted a picture of the 4th of July or Valentine's Day, because the word "HOLIDAY" drives me crazy this time of year.

I am also linking up with Katie Lloyd's photo challenge for the first time.  Katie loves the Lord Jesus and is bringing glory to His name through photography.  I love it.  Be sure to head over and check out more entries.

3.  A Tree
Since I posted my tree pictures this week for the Click It Up A Notch photo challenge, I thought I would pull this photo from the archives (well I only took it two weeks ago).  The tree serves as an excellent backdrop for this cute little drummer boy.

4.  Quiet
Shhhhhhhhhh.....be very quiet.  B is fast asleep.

5.  Your Favorite Color
When I think of my favorite colors I immediately think of a cheer that I have heard and participated in throughout my life.  If there is one thing you should know about this Kentucky girl it is that I BLEED BLUE!!!  The music blares, "What's your favorite color baby?"  The crowd chants, "BLUE and WHITE!!"  There is no denying that my favorite colors are BLUE and WHITE.  I tried to find the song online, but came up empty handed.
