Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Here are my interpretations for this weeks Scavenger Hunt hosted by Ashley at Photos and Ramblings.

1.  The View Above
We went to Universal Studios last weekend and saw all the rage.  The rage that is Hogwartz (that is Harry Potter land for all of you that have no idea what I am talking about).  I have to admit, I was much more impressed than I thought I would be.

2.  Something Hot
Like Ashley, I looked all week for something to use for "Hot."  I even took a few shots that did not satisfy me.  Therefore, I pulled this one from the archives.  It was taken last Christmas while sitting around the fire pit with my in-laws. Yes, in Florida you can sit outside around a fire at Christmas.  Kind of ridiculous...huh??

3.  Something Cold
A look inside my not so full freezer.  There are few things cold around here unless they are inside your refrigerator or freezer.

4.  Electronic
This may be a stretch for electronic, I mean it is electronic, but it seems like it would fall more in the technology category.  However, I have been wanting to take this picture for months, so I thought "Electronic" was a great opportunity.

5.  Sparkle
I took this shot about 20 times and still couldn't get the "Sparkle" I wanted.  I took in several different positions with different lighting and different setting, but still could not get it to "Sparkle" like I had hoped.  Then in post-processing I added a little lens flare and still was dissatisfied.  Can anyone help?
Ashley, I know you can!!!

What a super sweet electronic photo. Love it! I wish I could help you with your sparkle shot, but mine was even WAY worse and I just gave up!

I do like your sparkle but here's something I have done in the past to get a little bit of sparkle in a photo and as I'm typing this I'm wondering why I never thought of doing it on my sparkle pic for today! Use Pioneer Woman bright eyes action on the little bits that you want to light up a little more.

Your electronic shot is just wonderful. As for your sparkle shot, I would try Morgan Kervin's Eye Sparkle Love action...but there's bound to be a way to bring it out even more.
