Rubber Ducky, Your the One...

Before Photo

After Photo
I used PSE 8 to edit this picture.  First I cropped it, so more of the focus would on Bennett's eye contact with the duck.  Then I ran a level and threshhold adustment layer to correct the color.  I wanted the picture to have a warm, almost glowing effect, so I ran CoffeeShop's Soft Autumn Glow Action.  I lowered to opacity of the glow to 50% and lowered the contrast to 75% before flattening the image.

I would have liked to lighten his eyes, but each time I tried I was dissatisfied with how they turned out.  Any suggestions?

Awwww...so cute! It looks like he's having a staring contest with the duck!

As for lightening his eyes, maybe play around with the curves...lighten the darks and shadows a bit.

Not sure if you shoot in RAW or not, but if you do, you could open it as a RAW and use the adjustment brush to adjust the exposure slightly on his eyes.

Very cute capture!
