Project 52: Week 5, Tickle Monster

5/52- January 29- February 4

One of Zoe's Christmas gifts from my sister's family was the book, Tickle Monster.  Of course, she is  too young to enjoy it (yet), but Bennett loves it.  It is such a cute book and always produces giggles.

Making their fish face!!!

Nikon D90, Settings: 32 mm, f/2.8, 1/100 sec, ISO 5000.  My camera does not handle high ISO very well, so if I take similar photos in the future I will have them use a brighter flash light.

If you look closely you will see the Tickle Monster mitts and two different sets of Duplo blocks.  I wanted to include those in the photos, because those are Bennett's "buddies."  Their names are "Dragon-Roar" and "Parrot."  They go and do everything with us.  He fixes them breakfast, fastens them in with a seatbelt in the car, takes them to bath and so on.  I hope to take another set of photos starring Bennett and his "buddies".

I can't decide which I like better: Color or BW
What do you think?

I like the black and white photos. Such a sweet moment to capture between father and son.

These came out GREAT, Amber!

I like the addition of the phone app flashlight:-)

No hesitation this time - to me the black and white are MUCH better for this set, pulling my focus to the faces, the light, the interactions, the relationship...wonderful!

I normally prefer color pictures, but I love the black and white of these! I think the details of his smile comes out stronger. They are all so beautiful though!
