Here we are again ready to start the Quarterly Top 5. I am pumped!!
The last three months I have taken plenty of photos of B. After sorting through them (which was soooooooo much fun, I might add) I realized I have previously posted most of my favorites. So if you have previously seen these photos.......I hope you enjoy the story of why they're my favorites. If you haven't previously seen them............I still hope you enjoy the story of why they're my favorites :)
I don't have a great story behind this one. I just love the semi-dramatic lighting, his sweet chubby cheeks, and all that hair!
This is just your everyday snapshot with very little technical appeal, but I LOVE IT!!! This was B's first time on his splash pad and he had so much fun. He couldn't stop kicking his legs (to splash the water around) and LAUGHing. Is there anything better than the joy of a child?
In case you can't tell B was having a blast painting with his cousin while Grandma and I spectated. It is things like this that I may have never encouraged before I began my photography journey. Now, I crave activities such as this: 1) It allows B to have fun. 2) It allows me to have fun snapping away (and struggling to find the right settings for the low lighting situation). You can see more photos of B's painting experience HERE.
B was learning to walk and would often pull up on our island and cruise around. This day I kept trying to get him to peek around at me. After several attempts, not only did he peaked around, but he looked straight at the camera. I love that he is standing on his tip toes/ I love his shadow on the cabinet. And I love the blown out window.
What can I say......the kid loves cottage cheese? As a matter of fact, up until last week the kid just loved to eat. This photo cracks me up. His facial expression is just too much.

Love all of them, especially the second and fourth!:)
That photo that you chose for your thumbnail on the link is my favorite from the bunch! He looks sooooo absolutely adorable! :)
Ever since the first one, I've been looking forward to the Quarterly Top 5. Such a fun meme!! Thanks to you, Sarah, and Courtney for hosting it.
"B" is so handsome! I can not get over the hair! simply adorable!
Awesome photos. I love that last one. He is so cute!
What an absolute doll! Could he be any cuter? My fave is the peeking around the dresser one for all the reasons you mentioned. :)
CUTENESS! I love, love, love that paint shot!
He's so adorable and these are great shot's. Love what you said about now embracing the painting mess.
I don't think he could get ANY cuter!!! I love them all, no point in picking a favourite! I'm off to have a peek at the rest of the painting photos :D
He is adorable. LOVE the last 2 pics especially.
He is so cute, Amber. Love your choices!
these are great. I love the peeking around the corner picture. I really like the painting picture too. I have found that when things go wrong, if I pick up my camera and photograph it, it calms me down and well you get a good picture of what could have been a bad experience. I'm sure you will find this even more as he explores his world!
Awww.. I love your snapshots.. the last one really brings out the happiness that your son exhibits when he dives into his favourite food.
I just adore the shot with the paint!
omg He is just all sorts of adorable! Love the painting one, should I be so brave one day I'll be sure to share.
Seriously, I can't even come up with the words to describe how adorable he is. That last shot is priceless!
I can see why these are your favorites! They are all adorable! And that splash pad is so cool. I don't remember those being around when my kids were babies.
He has the cutest cheeks ever
Those are all fantastic! He is such an adorable boy! Thanks for hosting {and for letting pets join in!}

How totally adorable is your boy?! And that painting photo... uber-cuteness!!! Love it!
He is SUCH a cutie!
Oh my goodness, his cheeks are just too much; he is adorable!
Oh wow he is such a cutie. That splash mat sure looks like fun, I've never seen those before. I really do like the one where he is peaking from around the kitchen island. Come to think of it, I like them all
Very cute! You have a sweet subject. My favorite is the peeking one. I love all that is says about the phase of learning to walk and how you processed the photo. Very nice!
Oh my, your B is adorable. I love the first shot of him and those chubby cheeks.
