Scavenger Hunt Sunday

1.  Black and White
This is Edwin or so my husband calls him.  He is a stray cat that has been wondering around our house for the last few months.  If you know me, you know I love cats, but I had to give mine to my parents if I wanted to marry my cat-allergic husband.  Edwin still runs away when we get too close, but I am hoping if we keep feeding him, he will eventually let us pet him.

2.  I Ate This
This photo is only good, because it is filled with the best cake in the WORLD!!!!  I make this pumpkin cake twice a year, because as my husband says, "It is the CREATIVE CALORIC CAKE."  Oh, but are the calories ever worth it...during the holidays.  This cake, along with Pumpkin Spice Creamer, and Chick-fil-A's Peppermint Chocolate Chip Milkshake keep me more than excited for the holidays to arrive.

3.  Historic
I don't know the age of this carriage, but it is definitely historic.  My husband's parents live near Heritage Village, which is a "21-acre living history museum.  There are more than 28 historic structures and features, some dating back to the 19th century..."  It is really cool, really educational, and a great place to take photographs.

4.  Off Center
You know I can't do a post without a picture of my cute little caboose!!
I love this photo for too many reasons to explain.

5.  The End
I took a few different shots for "The End," but I wasn't really pleased with any of them.  Therefore, I decided to go with the one I took after finishing the 5K Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning.  Sam pushed Bennett in the stroller (he is so sweet to stay with me).  I finished in 28:55.  This photo was very dull, so I added a few fun effects.  Not only did we run, but my brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law ran the 5K.  My nephew and niece ran the 1 mile fun run and my father-in-law walked the 1 mile while pushing my youngest nephew in the stroller.

Head on over to Ashley's blog to check out more of this weeks interpretations!

Awww... 'Edwin' is gorgeous; and most definitely black and white! Love how it looks like he's dipped the front of his paws in white paint. Hope you end up getting to pet him, and yay you guys for caring for a stray <3

Your eye with the camera – I shoot with a pocket Kodak – you though, have a true gift.

The black/white thing with “Edwin”. Tezzie above is right - dipped in paint.

The Bennett shot – stunning – the focus thing.

Smiled with every shot.

God Bless and Keep

Wonderful finds! I love the carriage! It looks like a perfect piece for Oklahoma’s “Surrey with the Fringe on Top”.

I love every one of them, but my favorites are Edwin and Bennett. Edwin must be warming up to pose for you like that - I had a feeling he'd end up a Cullum one day! And I really like how you faded B's picture with the blocks in focus - so creative! And why have I not had that pumpkin cake before???? :)
