Anticipating Fall...................

Along with most other central Kentucky residents the anticipation of fall is in the air. I can honestly say there is no other place I would rather live during the months of September and October than in Lexington, Kentucky. I am not sure if I love the fall because I have always been blessed to live in this beautiful state or if its all of the activities that take place during this season.

I love the fall, but I love the fall in Kentucky even more!!!!
-Football is here.
-Cool, crisp mornings and evenings.
-pumpkin patches
-Fall festivals
-Orange, Red, Yellow, and Brown leaves that seem to barely hang on to their branches before lining the downtown streets.
-The smell of pumpkin pie, apple pie, caramel apples, apple cider, fall candles, etc.
-The harvest decorations that adorn many homes (scarecrows, fodder shocks, pumpkins, gourds, hay bales, and even some of the Halloween decorations).
-Mums
-The influx of animals in our backyard.
-The lack of sweat experienced when outside!!
-Watching people rake leaves hoping children are near by to run and jump and play in the leaves as I loved to do
-Driving to my hometown, because the hills are a breathtaking canvas of color.
-so on and so on

Ahhhhhhhhh!!! I can't wait.
