One Saturday morning in early April I was able to capture some photos for the White family. They attend our church, but we were only acquaintances prior to our shoot. Little did I know, Mr. White is a fellow Kentuckian and University of Kentucky grad and Mrs. White and I are both pregnant and due around the same time.
They were complete naturals in front of the camera, which I have learned is really rare. It is so much easier when you can focus on getting the child to engage the camera versus the child, the mom, and the dad.
Plus, there are few families able (and willing) to meet for a 7:30 a.m. photo shoot. It wasn't even my idea, but I prefer shooting early in the morning.
Jack wasn't so sure about me taking his photo at first, but once I brought out the chair and momma started making funny faces and noises he was all in.
And if you know me, you know I love backlit photos, so here are probably my two favorites from the session.
