While reading this verse I was reminded that I have a limited understanding of time. Then I read the next verse and was further reminded that God is not slow to keep his promises. It may seem slow to me, but I do not understand slowness. Plus, God's whole purpose of time is to allow people to repent and know Him.
2 Peter 3:9
The LORD is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
