Mother's Day=ROCKING CHAIRS

My first MOTHER'S DAY yielded two new rocking chairs for our front porch.

The hubster hard at work

I have been wanting porch furniture for several months now.  Unfortunately, I also want green grass, new shrubs, flowers, trees cut, but rocking chairs are a good start.

We love our house, but we have a lot of work to do on the outside.  We have been told the previous owners (prior to the house becoming bank owned) had the best yard on the block.  Well let me tell you we are far from that.....We have just begun the long process of making the outside "pretty."  Therefore, I leave you with a few pictures of me with my little dude rocking in our new chairs.

Have you tried craigslist? You could prob find a neat, original little table and paint it! I don't know what the outside of your house looks like but it might be neat to make it a fun bright colored table!

Love them! Where did you get them from? I would love some for our back deck, but I don't see that happening any time soon either. They are way low on our priority list right now. Gotta get the inside in shape first!

Thanks for stopping by, Amber - the salmon is to die for - you have to try it! How are you liking Florida? It's...stickier, than I thought it would be. haha. As for the table - what about picking one up from Good Will or Craigslist and just spray painting it? That's what I did with my outside furniture. P.S. Your baby is so stinkin' cute!!
